Peer-led Learning and Teaching in Osher (PLATO) presents:

Brack Obama, Teofilo Ruiz,Cuban-American Relations: Past, Present and Future”

Teo Ruiz, professor of History at UCLA and 2012 recipient of the National Humanities Medal, left Cuba as a teenager after fighting with, and being imprisoned by, Fidel Castro.  Teo returned to Cuba for the first time in 2012.
