The Osher class, “Why Sinatra Matters” taught by Earl Schub, has been featured in a UCLA Today article. The class, which starts Saturday, March 3; will be held at the Belmont Village Encino in Sherman Oaks, and will explore Sinatra’s career, uniqueness and significance. The instructor, Earl Schub, is Dean Emeritus of Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University. He served as the director of marketing and executive producer for television at the Lyric Opera of Chicago and was manager of Western Opera Theater. Schub holds an MBA in arts management from UCLA.
